Best in Drugstore Launches | Spring 2018
One of the most exciting things that have happened since I have started blogging is the explosion of quality and variety that has happened in the drugstore beauty aisles. I’ll be the first person to say that I loooove a good deal, and it’s been amazing to see all of the new things that have been popping up this month. It also fits with this month's theme of bringing down spending without losing any quality. Here are some of the things that I’m most excited about.
Okay, I am fully aware that you can make this at home. However, sometimes you just want the easy, open the jar option. This one also has some special other ingredients like lemongrass oils. I assume that this works like any sugar scrub…buffing off old skin cells and brightening!
I have been loving the CoverFX Custom Cover Drops, and it’s always good news when there is a drugstore alternative. These come in two shades, warm and cool. I’m interested in putting these to the test against the higher-end offerings.
I have been in love with the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lipsticks, so it seems really smart to try out their new foundation. They also are also claiming that this will last the full 24 hours, in addition to not clogging pores.
I love cleansing balms. My favorite, currently, is from Clinique and costs $29.50. This one is half the price and seems really luxurious for the price. IT comes with a natural sponge, and promises to fix dry skin naturally!
Rimmel has been surprising me with the quality of their foundations for years. They’re cheap and they’re great. The bad news? Their shade range is crap. I’ve been lucky so far, but I understand that not everyone is in that position. The idea of a foundation that is both breathable and can last a full day is intriguing and I’ll definitely be picking this up.
I saw this and was really excited. The idea that there is an eyeliner that can create wings faster and easier is different and new. I haven’t seen one quite like this.
What are you interested in at the drugstore? I’m always looking for suggestions!
