Reviewing Neutrogena Face Masks

As part of my celebration of skin, I am more attached to my skincare routine than ever. The one thing that I really change up is my tissue masks. I like to try a variety...and I have a mind for budget-friendly choices.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been testing out a few masks from the new Neutrogena Mask Collection, including two sheet masks, and a single-use mask shot. The package is very traditional-Neutrogena branding, and it's easy to find at most mass retailers. When I stopped at Ulta today they even had an end cap with a few of the products.

I typically use sheet masks once a week, and these are some of the best that I've seen available from any mass-market retailer. The backing is easy to take off (a regular frustration of mine) and they feel cooling and tingly on. The Hydro Boost Hydrating mask is my favorite of the two I tired (Radiance Boost) being the other because I mostly worry about dryness, not dullness. It's definitely worth the $2.99 and kept my skin looking great days after using it.

The other item I'm trying is the single-use hydrating shot. IT feels the exact same as the mask, but it gets left on overnight. I'm a side-sleeper, so I was worried about getting it all over my pillow if I put it on, but it sinks in really well and isn't sticky, so it's great for overnights. Although it's a single use, it's also a lot of bang for your buck, and can be stretched to two uses if you want.

If I had to pick between the two, I prefer the ease of the overnight shot. It's so easy to throw on before I go to bed instead of my usual moisturizer and wake up with awesome skin. I love a good sheet mask, but you can't beat that convenience.

These are available a ton of places, and like I said, are super budget friendly. I haven't tried out the Deep Clean Purifying masks. My skin has been behaving lately, so I haven't needed to suck out all the goo, but I'll be doing it next time I have a nasty breakout.

What are your favorite masks from the drugstore? Let me know in the comments!

Disclosures: Neutrogena sent these to me for free. They did not dictate what I was to say and did not pressure or instruct me to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I really do like them, and have repurchased them with my own money since then.
