Writing Holiday Cards for Dummies

I get it. You know you need to write grandma a card for Christmas, but you’re just not sure what to write. Or maybe it’s Hannukah and bubbe is calling. Whatever the case, I am here to help demystify the holiday card with this universal, easy-to-use template.

This year, like most years, I’m killing them all off over the thanksgiving long weekend. I picked up a set of cards from amazon, and I have been loving them. They’re cute, and came with little envelope sealing stickers too, and they’re what I’m using for all of these, just in case you’re wondering.

Okay. The template. Here we go.

Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas/Happy Hannukah (Recipients Name)!

We’re thinking of you this holiday season. 2018 was a big year for us! (Name an event that happened). We also heard that (something big that happened to them)! We are spending this holiday season (where are you going/what are you doing), and hope that you get to have a wonderful time with friends and family (name some specific ones for bonus points). (If you’re religious, add a sentiment about that here.) Stay cozy this December and we hope to hear from you soon!

Sign the card.

Boom. Done.

Happy writing, friends!
