Uprooted

First, I wanted to say thanks so much for all of the kind words about me leaving me job. It was really overwhelming, and your kindness made it so much easier. In good news, I'm officially off the job market! After three weeks of terrifying unemployment, I accepted a position with a start date of August 15th!

Unfortunately, it requires a lot of moving. We are moving our little family 970 miles away to Great Falls, Montana. Yikes. Having just made a big move to Minneapolis, I'm not spectacularly enthused about moving again, but it will be good for us in a lot of ways. Now that we have the official word that we are indeed going, it's made the decision making a little easier.

As of today, I'm sitting in my parents house in Billings, Montana, planning out our summer. I'll be back in Minneapolis on Monday, and start packing our nonessential and house hunting for our new hood! Then, Charles will finish work on June 2nd. We have a wedding that weekend, then a whole week to pack up as much as possible before....

Europe! We've booked a long, multi-country trip starting in Iceland and ending in Budapest, including another wedding! It's going to be exciting, but is just adding to my stress, of course.

In short, I'm feeling really uprooted. We knew all of these things were going to happen, but it didn't make it easier. If you have any advice on moving, please leave it below. I feel like a pro by now, but more advice is always better.

I have another announcement next week that I'm excited about, so stay tuned!
