FOTD: Music Fest Blues

This weekend I spent some time at the Montana Folk Music Festival. It was great. There was a lot of walking outside in the hot hot sun, so my legs hurt and I have a wicked sunburn across my cleavage (but nowhere else). The festival itself was so grand. This part of the summer is when the outdoor festival or fair reigns supreme. I put together this look that I think would be really cute at all kinds of outdoor events this summer. It’s also mostly drugstore! The pop of blue is really in right now, and since a lot of these events do have that trendy and unusual feel that this is prefect for.

I used the white eye pencil to make the blue liner really pop, and blended it out with the L’Oreal pigment to make the line softer. For the lips, I went with something with an orange base because orange and blue contrast really nicely together.
