Alberta Travel Album 2019

Over Memorial Day weekend, we took a roadtrip up to Banff. One of Charles’s friends flew out, and we hopped in the car and drove up to Canada! It was a big party in the car. We had loaded up on roadtrip snacks and were ready for a weekend of hiking! We had been out last year in the winter, so I was excited to see some mountains that maybe weren’t totally covered in ice.

It was pretty magical because there weren’t a lot of people around. A lot of the time, it seemed like we had the park to ourselves, except in the major tourist hubs like Lake Louise! I highly recommend shoulder season!

We ended up staying at a lovely guest house in Field, British Columbia, which also gave us great access to Yoho National Park, which I had never been to. One of our favorite hikes was out there, so don’t discount venturing outside of Banff too.

You can also click on the photos to have them pop out a little bigger too!
