Pupdate

This was our first day together.
It's been just four months since Biscuit came into my life. She was so tiny then! Some of you have been asking how she's been so I thought I'd give you the update.

The day we first met, Biscuit only six weeks old.
Biscuit is now six months old. She's a really fantastic dog and I love having her around more than ever. She still sleeps in my bed, even though I've tried more than once to discourage that. She doesn't like anywhere better than curled up around my legs all night. She slowly creeps up toward my face during the night, so I'll wake up with her nose touching my head.

She is asleep in this picture.
She passed her AKC Puppy STAR test last month. I even sent away for the silly little medal.

As she's getting bigger (more than 40 pounds of dog now!) we have had some issues. She is a counter-surfer, and will grab anything and everything off of the counters. She's still getting into everything and loves to chew. I lost my first pair of shoes to her just last week. She's stubborn and willful, so she needs a special restrictive harness for when we go for walks. She also hates getting wet, so baths are out of the question, no matter how muddy we get at the dog park.

But she's a great dog. Smart and funny and already fiercely loyal. She gets this little sneer on her face when she thinks you're being stupid, so I know that we're meant to be buddies. It's hard to imagine that she could be my dog until I'm in my 30s, but I'm looking forward to every moment.

Biscuit really wanted the romantic dinner I cooked for not her.
If you want to see a lot of Biscuit, check out my Instagram. She's on there quite a lot. Oh, and here's a video of Biscuit in action.
