Barkbox: Space Rover | June 2015

Barkbox day is by far the happiest day for my dog. She’s a happy, happy camper when that box lands on the doorstep and she gets to try the newest toys and treats from all over America. This month was (adorably) Space Rover themed, with intergalactic toys and treats for every pup in the universe.

As I mentioned last month, Biscuit’s broken the 50-pound mark, so I upgraded her from the medium-sized box to the large dog box, and here’s what she got!

Barkmade Flying Saucer

Front row seats for the next supernova! Your pup can’t get any closer to the intergalactic activities than in their pawsonal BarkMade Flying Saucer.

Hit and miss on this one. Unfortunately, Biscuit tore this thing apart by the end of the first day we had it. She really liked it for those few hours of fun, but I can’t possibly repurchase it because it just wasn’t durable enough.

$12

West Paw Tizzi

BPA and phthalate-free, non-toxic, floatable, recyclable, made in the USA – wowza. The Tizzi is the top for interactive, intergalactic fun.

This is the real winner of the box. These are made only a few hours away from me, which makes me like them even more. It’s also durable and the dog loves it. It has a hole in the middle that you can fill with treats, and is fun to throw and catch and tug. This product alone makes the box worth it.

$18

Barkworthies Lamb Lung

Single-source proteins are out-of-this-world tasty and nutritious! Barkworthies Lamb Lungs are low in fat, high in protein, and packed with Vitamin A.

Biscuit really likes these. They’re a good treat to have around to keep her busy in the morning when I’m in the shower or trying to put my makeup on in peace. They smell terrible, but all of her favorite treats do.

$8

Barkmade Space Rover Bandana

If you’re going to moonwalk, you gotta look good! Your pup will be the most stylish one in the constellation with this BarkMade Bandana.

This is cute. Really really cute. Getting the dog to leave it on is an entirely different story. I probably wouldn’t pick this up in a store, but it is adorable and everyone at the dog park told Biscuit how pretty she looked. More so than normal, anyway.

$7

The total value of this box was $45. I paid $21, and the Tizzi plus the lamb treats made it totally worth it.

If you’re interested in Barkbox, you can click here and get your first month for free, plus a dog at an animal shelter will get a box too (no kickback for me, I promise).
