Fall Trends on a Budget

Fall is here and the newest trends are out. If you are looking forward to all the new patterns and warm colors that come with fall — I’m your gal. Unfortunately, it can be hard to buy all the trends on a limited budget. I hunted down some of the trends that I’ve been loving for fall 2019, but in a price point that works for almost anyone.

Leather

Leather details are always in at this time of year, but I know that a pair of real leather boots are often out of the budget. I love this pair of faux leather leggings from Commando for the look and feel of real leather, but at a fraction of the price. I also am totally into the color of this faux leather jacket from Modcloth. It’s a very flattering cut and an on-trend tone for this year.

Houndstooth

Houndstooth is one of those patterns that never really goes out of style, but I have been digging on using it in trendier ways. The ways I have my eye on are as a pleated skirt (on-trend and adorably girly!) or as a mixed-print belted vest.

Green Tones

I love green. It’s my favorite color. It’s jsut the best, and it makes my eyes look awesome. I also love capes. What would be better than a green cape. If that’s not your thing, I also lov these olive green wide-leg trousers (great for work and transitioning into winter and spring!).

Belted Blazers

The nice thing about belted blazers is that they don’t have to be perfectly tailored. They are already getting pulled in at the waist, so that’s one less place that you have to think about getting the right fit. I like this one from White House Black Market or this one from River Island.

Square-Toe Shoes

The 90s called and they’re bringing their shoes. I think that there’s a fine line between dated and cool, and these walk it very closely. I like these ones in a faux snake print, or this pair (so comfy) from Everlane.

Happy shopping!
