February Allure Beauty Box Review

February always zips by, so I was so excited to see that my February Allure had arrived! After last month’s shipping and product quality issues, I was so happy to have a box that worked out well. It came in another plastic envelope-style bag, which is the perfect size for storing makeup brushes. I’ve had a few days to test the different items out, and I’m excited to talk about them today!

Inside my Box

The first item in the box was the Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara ($26). I had tried some skincare items from Wander, but never any makeup. This mascara is good. I mostly just need my mascara to stay on. I have oily lids and mascara doesn’t stay put like it should. This mascara is okay in the length and volume department but doesn’t budge at all! And when it does, it flakes, not smudges. That’s my personal preference, but smudges are worse than flakes, in my opinion. I’ll be using this up!

Also, for the eyes is the ModelCo Metallic Eyeshadow Trio in Mykonos ($15). I don’t know about you, but I usually think of whites and blues when I think of Mykonos, Greece, but I do like the burgundy and brown combo here. It’s also much better quality than I was expecting, and cute for a speedy look when I’m travelling. They’re also very universally flattering, which is nice! To help apply those new shadows is the Moda Metallics Triad Eye Brush ($4.99). This brush was nice to get because it’s not a shape that I currently have, and I have a lot of brushes. It’s a cool triangle shape and it’s very soft. It is great for diffusing a crease color, and I think it’ll get a lot of use out of it.

Another item in the box is the Browgal Instatint Tinted Brow Gel ($22). I love a good brow gel, because who has time to put on Instagram brows every day? This is shade brown 02 and it’s a great match for me. It’s a nice brow gel. I like my Benefit Kabrow better, so I don’t think that I’ll be repurchasing, but I’ll be using it or keeping it in my travel bag.

The last makeup item was the Laritzy Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Bare ($18). I don’t like this. It doesn’t work quite like I want. I don’t like wooden lip pencils, and the formula is too dry for me. I’ll be passing this one on!

There are two skincare items in the box. They are both by the brand Mamonde. The first is the Petal Spa Oil to Foam Cleanser ($3 value, sample size). The other is the Flower Lab Essence Mask ($7). These are both wonderful. I have been using the Oil to Foam cleanser to take off my makeup at the end of the day, and it’s been fantastic. Moisturizing, but not oily, and all my makeup is gone! I liked the mask, but I have so many, so I don’t think I’ll be buying any more for a while.

The overall total value of this box is a little less than $94. Like normal, this is a fantastic high value for money, considering that the box retails for $15. I am also continually impressed and will get a lot of use out of this box. If you want your own Allure Beauty Box ($10 to start, $15 each month after!) you can sign up here!
