Spendy Skincare Worth the Splurge

Up until about a year ago, I was mostly a low-end skincare kind of girl. I’m still early twenties, so it’s not like the end of the world if I buy slightly cheaper face cream. Recently, I’ve been branching out into some higher end things…and here are my favorites that I think are completely worth the splurge.

StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream

I’m not so old as to have a weird turkey neck, but it’s nice to feel really clear, obvious tightening. This isn’t a gimmick, it’s the real deal. Your skin will thank you, and you’ll feel awesome.

Drunk Elephant Lippe

I really like high end lip balm. It makes me feel super snobby, but there’s something about the feel of a $22 lip balm that feels luxurious. Drunk Elephant makes one of my favorites…called Lippe. Big fan. It’s supposed to be antiaging, but what I think instead is that it’s the fastest-absorbing and smoothest texture.

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

Of everything on this list, this is my favorite. This has made the number one biggest difference in my skin, and was what has turned me on to high-end skincare. I got it in a Sephora Play! and have been loving it. It pretty much instantly cleared up any texture I had overnight. I recommend it to everyone.

Drunk Elephant Marula Luxury Facial Oil

This really does feel like luxury. It sinks into my skin immediately and makes my skin velvety soft. The effects last a long time too, so even though this will set you back $72, it doesn’t need to be used every day.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter

This brings all the moisture of argan oil, without any of the heaviness. It also comes in eight delicious scents. IT’s totally worth every penny of the $35 for this expensive lotion.
