Orly Breatheable Nail Polish in TLC

As I mentioned in my recent Ulta haul, I recently picked up the Orly Breathable Nail Polish in TLC. Now, more than a week after first applying it, I think it’s a good time to talk about it.

I am still in love with the color. It’s beautiful, and I get a lot of compliments on it. I also like (thinking) that it’s helping my nails. Who knows if it really does? I haven’t noticed any benefits at all, but it does seem to cause less dryness.

I love how low-maintenance this is. Two coats, no base coat, no top coat. It also dries very quickly. Longevity? Pretty average. It doesn’t last longer or shorter than any of my regular nail polishes. It doesn’t have the same shine as using a pretty top coat, but it still looks nice.

One major con is that it definitely marks more easily. It would still dent if I put pressure on it days layer. I feel like this would be fixed with a topcoat, but that defeats the purpose.

Would I buy it again? Probably, but mostly because of the no basecoat or topcoat thing. These are $8.99 each at Ulta, or $10.99 in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart.
